1 Introduction
Product Overview 1.1
The LAN17255HR is designed to provide five Gigabit Ethernet ports for expanding the networking capabilities of any system. The board can
be used either in a PC/104-Plus system or as a standalone module. In a stack it gets power from either the PCI bus, ISA bus, os a power
connector. It provides five RJ45 ports with auto-configuration so any of the ports can be upstream or downstream. This board is compatible
with all PC/104, PC/104-Plus, and PCI-104 cpuModules.
Board Features 1.2
BroadCom BCM53115 Gigabit Ethernet Switch:
o 5 Full Duplex Unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet Ports
Auto configuration means any of the ports can be an uplink or downlink
o Industrial Temperature rated: -40 to +85 C
PC/104, PC/104-Plus, or PCI-104
o PCI and ISA Buses are used as a pass through interfaces on the LAN17255HR and only provide power to the module.
